If your company offers complex product-service bundles in ecommerce, our solution can significantly reduce your workload, increase flexibility and cut costs considerably. You can react flexibly to your customers' preferences by adapting the bundles and the associated price models more quickly and by making updates more frequently. This enables you to leverage potential for increasing sales and profits.
The solution consists of three different components: two applications that are integrated into the commercetools Merchant Center and enable the configuration of dynamic bundles and prices. Bundles can be configured using various reference types: individual products, product types and categories. Prices can be configured for all possible combinations of bundle options and are therefore very flexible. In addition, there is a Spring Boot middleware that aggregates the bundle data and prices and makes them available via REST interfaces for frontends or other connections. Extra care has been taken to ensure that no data is stored in the middleware, all bundle information data is held only within commercetools.
The source code of the middleware is available and can be used for your own extensions or integrated into an existing code base. The Merchant Center applications can be self-hosted and can be operated independently of diconium.
We also offer a demo frontend that shows the functions of the Bundle Accelerator and can also be used as a basis for further development.
